“Dil Sambhalta Nahin” wasn’t just a song; it was a dream fulfilled. As a musician, I had always longed to sing a duet with the legendary Alka Yagnik. My initial work on “Thoda Sa Pyaar Thoda Hai Baaki” stemmed from this very dream. I envisioned singing it with her in the film, but fate had other plans. I ended up composing the song, which was beautifully sung by Udit Narayan and Alka.While my musical journey continued, the dream of singing alongside Alka lingered. Then came the opportunity with MWM records. I knew exactly which song – “Dil Sambhalta Nahin,” penned by Ravindra Peepat would be perfect. Singing it with Alka for my own label was surreal. It was a culmination of a long-held desire, a moment I cherished deeply. Experiences like these are rare gems, and this duet remains a precious treasure from my company’s collection.
