Baat ye Kya hain

Diwakar had participated with Armaan in Lil Champs… the extremely talented boy we had known for so many years. Diwakar’s mom called me one day and asked for help promoting him. Since we work very closely with T-Series, we decided to get him associated with them. He became part of T-Series’ new talent Hunt . However, without a strong social media presence and viral content, it’s difficult to attract attention for any talent. I received another call from his mom saying he still didn’t have a proper song to his credit. That’s when we decided to introduce him on our platform and give him a serious start… “Baat Ye Kya Hai” was born out of a simple question. It’s a straightforward song about relationships and their fragile nature. I wrote the lyrics and composed the song. I was considering launching a female singer from Sa Re Ga Ma, but that didn’t work out. On the recording day, my arranger called Ananya Wadekar to play the sitar. I was thrilled by her performance. Just as she was leaving, I asked if she could sing, and to my surprise, she said she would love to sing this song. Magic happened again, and the song was released as a duet. This song has made a strong impact on music listeners.
