“Main Chala” (I Walk On) is more than just a song; it’s a window into my philosophy of life, a philosophy penned by the renowned writer Rashmi Virag. The story behind its creation sheds light on my unique approach to music and the message you wanted to convey through MWM. When approached to contribute to our new music label, MWM, Rashmi wasn’t asked for just any lyrics . I envisioned a “life sketch,” a song that captured the essence of someone who goes with the flow of life, accepting the path laid out by a higher power. This wasn’t about conquering mountains or overcoming obstacles. It was about a man who walks on, undeterred by challenges. He doesn’t crave, criticize, or get into conflict he simply continues on his own path, gathering little joys along the way. “Main Chala” is a celebration of submission, not in a weak sense, but in a sense of acceptance. It’s about embracing what life offers, believing there’s a better way than anger or negativity. It’s about finding beauty in the journey, picking up the metaphorical flowers, and cherishing the precious moments of existence. In a way, “Main jo Chala” represents a side of me – the side that seeks peace and finds magic in the simple joys of life.
