About Album

MWM’s journey began with a song not originally planned, but one that would become its very heartbeat – “Tu Hai Jahaan” (You Are the World). This story is a testament to embracing the unexpected and the power of collective creation.
The fledgling MWM found itself facing a challenge – established connections and a distributor demanded immediate action. Instead of succumbing to pressure, a decision was made to celebrate the rich tapestry of India. Diversity, religion, cultural beauty – temples, mosques, churches, gurdwaras – everything that makes India unique was to be woven into a song dedicated to the nation.
The cast of characters for the song’s video was equally diverse. It wasn’t about professional models, but everyday people:laborers, rickshaw drivers, beachgoers, all representing the fabric of Indian society. The song itself featured four female vocalists, their voices blending to create a powerful melody.
The video’s creation was another act of resourcefulness. Compiled from YouTube footage, it might have seemed like a quick fix, but the heart poured into it shone through. The song’s success was further amplified by my own performance in the central role.
But the true magic of “Tu Hai Jahaan” lies in the collaborative spirit. The arrangements were beautifully crafted by Wavre brothers and their programming skills, became the backbone of the song. This collaborative spirit is a cornerstone of MWM, with everyone contributing to create a platform for an artistic vision.
“Tu Hai Jahaan” transcends a mere song it’s the foundation upon which MWM was built. It’s a testament to embracing the unexpected, celebrating diversity, and the power of collective creation. It’s a song that will forever hold a special place in MWM’s story, a reminder of where it all began.
