About Album

The melody lingered in my heart, a songbird trapped for years. From a young age, music thrummed through my veins, urging me to sing. I carved a path in the world of films, composing music that danced on the silver screen. Yet, a yearning persisted – the desire to lend my own voice to the stories I created. The industry, however, followed its own rhythm. The spotlight craved established singers, leaving my dreams simmering on the backburner. Then came MWM, a beacon of hope birthed by my son, Amaal. One day, he presented me with a melody – “Tum Yun Hi Kabhi.” It was a song meant for me, a solo flight for my voice. Amaal, however, had other plans. He believed Palak Muchhal, a singer considered his lucky charm, would weave magic with the song. There was a deeper layer to this suggestion. The song was a classic melody, a tribute Amaal was composing for his own father, a son fulfilling a dream he perhaps carried for years. Singing “Tum Yun Hi Kabhi” was surreal. It was a culmination of my aspirations, a chance to finally take center stage under the baton of my son. This, I believe, was a unique chapter in the history of music – a father’s dream taking flight through his son’s composition. The song, penned by Panchhi Jalonvi, resonated with a melancholic beauty. It spoke of a universal emotion – loneliness – yet held a timeless quality. Despite Amaal’s young age, the melody brimmed with an understanding of the human heart, a testament to his talent. “Tum Yun Hi Kabhi” became more than a song; it became an emblem of firsts for MWM. It was the first time I sang, the first time I shot a music video, and the first time I collaborated with the talented Palak Muchhal. On stage, the song ignites a spark in the audience, a shared connection forged through music. Even today, “Tum Yun Hi Kabhi” holds a special place in my heart. It’s a melody that echoes the triumph of a lifelong dream, a testament to the unwavering love between a father and son, and the power of music to bridge generations.
